Summer Jobs Service for Students

The Summer Jobs Service Program is now completed for the Summer of 2008!

Summer Jobs Service is now finished accepting applications for the Summer of 2008. We still welcome you to come and access our Resource Centre any time to assist you in finding part time employment opportunities throughout the school year!

NEW THIS YEAR!!!

Information Sessions will be run to information students and their parents pertaining to job searching and resources for Summer Jobs.

Each summer, we assist more than 800 students to find a summer job. You could be one of them! To be eligible for the Summer Job Service Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • a student 15 - 24 years of age, up to 29 for individuals with a disability
  • not currently employed by the employer (exception: youth whose part-time job will be increased to full-time)
  • planning to return to school in the fall this year
  • eligible to work in Canada
  • not related to the Employer (for example: son, daughter, spouse, brother, sister)

Students wishing to register can print off a registration form, but must come into our resource centre in order to finialize their registration! Please bring a copy of your resume, a piece of ID showing your date of birth, and your SIN number.

PLEASE NOTE: THE QUICK APPLICATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS NOT A REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE SJS PROGRAM.
